Teacher Support Officer

The post will be for 15 hours per wk term time (39 weeks) 

Starting:ASAP

 

The FTE salary will range from £22,071 to  £22,438.  This will be pro-rated accordingly.

 

Location: RBWM Town Hall, Maidenhead  

Closing Date: 1st November

The Berkshire Sensory Consortium Service (BSCS) are looking to appoint a Teacher Support Officer.  This is an exciting opportunity to join a friendly team providing essential support to our peripatetic teachers of children with vision impairment and/or deaf/hearing loss throughout Berkshire.

You will need previous office experience; good administrative and communication skills are essential.  

The role is hybrid, with the opportunity to work a mix of working from home as well as being office based with a minimum of one day in the office each week once established in the role.  Some flexibility to working hours but they will preferably include a Monday and a Friday and be over a minimum of 3 days per week.  The hours will be worked during regular school hours and be the same pattern each week 

BSCS is hosted by Achieving for Children on behalf of the Royal Borough of Windsor and Maidenhead as part of the pan Berkshire joint arrangements.
